20 Everyday Objects
In 1979 the Montreal philanthropists Liliane and David M. Stewart founded the Montreal Museum of Decorative Arts at the Château Dufresne. Liliane Stewart began acquiring works of design from each decade of the twentieth century, building a rich and diverse collection of over 5,000 objects of international design, including numerous objects of Good Design.
The collection was donated to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in 2000. Here are 20 everyday objects from the Stewart Collection that illustrate Good Design.
