Fraser’s halogen lamp is a great example of playful postmodern design. The name Nastro is Italian for “ribbon,” which refers to the pop of rainbow colors in its wiring that is integrated into the flexible strip of its neck. Its weighted base holds the lamp in place no matter how high or how far its arm is extended. Born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, Fraser studied architecture and industrial design in the United States and now lives in Milan.
