Béhar’s Leaf Lamp exploits the miniaturization and sharp focus made possible by LEDs (light-emitting diodes). The LED grid can be seen on the underside of the adjustable top arm of the structure.

The leaf-like shaft appears to float on its circular base. Béhar, who heads fuseproject, an innovative industrial design firm in San Francisco, describes his lamps as combining storytelling and form, “where the potential for technology and commerce and culture, merge with the physical world.”
