The geometry that gives Geo its name is seen in Hansen’s composition of two cylinders in contrasting colors, a sharply angled spout, and rectilinear handle. The circular button on the top for opening the spout echoes the cylinders. This gives the overall shape rigidity, lacking the soft curving handles and spouts associated with the traditional jug form.

Produced in six color combinations, Geo holds a litre of hot or cold liquid. In 2013, it won the Red Dot Design Award for excellence in highly functional design.
