This container may look like an ice bucket, but it is actually a stylish garbage pail for use outside the kitchen. The designer based the form of the pail on the conical shape of his famous patented Chemex coffeemaker, and both have paper liners for easy removal of waste.

The shiny aluminum and the name Cinderella transformed a lowly functional object to an elegant streamlined objet d’art.
