Designed for city biking, this helmet won the 2015 Red Dot Design Award for good design. Simple and minimal, this highly functional design features integrated air vents, and a near-field-communication tag that allows the user to access preprogrammed information with their smartphone.

Most noteworthy for city use, however, is its collapsibility: the top dome and two concentric rings can be easily popped open for use or pushed closed, reducing its height by half so as to easily slide it into a bag or backpack. When folded its volume is reduced 50{7a493107c0b185699370697917ad812dca84654f36ab0140224d5a477e0355e2} and it is flat as a book. Unlike most bike helmets, this one is not streamlined: its ziggurat-like appearance primarily serves its collapse-and-carry function.
