The form and materials of these flashlights were inspired by the BMX bicycle handlebar grip, also composed of thin concentric circles to achieve better gripping, hence the name. The shallow cone that houses the LED light source acts as a suction cup to mount on any smooth, nonporous surface. The power button is set in the end of the handle. Grip comes in five standard colors (blue, black, orange, yellow, and white), and a red version was custom produced for the Conran Shop’s RED exhibition at the London Design Festival in September 2012.

Taylor established his London design studio in 2002 and is known for his innovative designs.
