The Aeron office chair provides supportive comfort with a breathable polyester fiber mesh, originally used for car seats, which responds to the weight to fit the sitter’s body. The elasticity of the material allows it to return immediately to its original shape. The chair is highly adaptable: the seat can be raised or lowered; the back can be reclined or tipped forward as needed, with a separate adjustment for the built-in lumbar support; the arms can be adjusted multidirectionally for comfort and use.
Made in three sizes for different body types, the chair reflects ergonomic research and the designer’s understanding of the user’s physical needs. The partial transparency of the material helps expose the mechanics of this chair.
